Accessibility Statement

We believe in providing an equal service to the entire public, and we work to make the Ateret Yosef Board website accessible to people with disabilities. We have invested effort and resources in making the site accessible, out of the conviction that everyone deserves the right to browse in an equal, dignified, independent, and safe manner.

Accessibility level of the site

The site was made accessible in accordance with the Israeli Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Regulations (Service Accessibility Adjustments), 2013, and the Israeli Standard IS 5568 for web content accessibility at level AA, which is based on the W3C WCAG 2.0 guidelines.

What we did to make the site accessible

  • Semantic, standards-compliant page structure (headings, main content area, navigation) to support screen readers
  • Support for navigation and browsing using the keyboard alone, without a mouse
  • A clear, visible focus indicator on every interactive element
  • A "skip to main content" link at the top of every page
  • Alternative text (alt) for images that convey information
  • Compliant color contrast between text and background
  • Support for Hebrew right-to-left (RTL) direction and in-browser text enlargement
  • Respect for users who prefer reduced motion
  • Compatibility with common browsers and mobile devices

Parts that are not fully accessible

Despite our efforts to make all pages and components accessible, some parts may not yet be fully accessible, or may contain third-party content that is not under our control. We continue to work to improve accessibility on an ongoing basis, and we welcome feedback that helps us improve.
